| About Tim Hull |
|
Though born on a U.S. Air Force base in South Carolina, Tim Hull was brought to Arizona when he was just six months old and has since left only rarely. He grew up in Prescott, a small town in the state's north-central pinelands, where his mother's family has lived since the 1870s. He graduated from Arizona State University and has traveled extensively throughout the Southwest and Mexico.
Tim Has been writing about Arizona and the West for nearly 20 years, ever since he served as features editor on his high school newspaper in Prescott. In that time he has discovered what is special about this state. He has hiked its trails, traveled its backroads, climbed to the peaks of its towering mountains and explored its wondrous deserts.
Currently, Tim is a freelance writer based in Tucson, Arizona. In addition to just completing the 10th edition of the Moon Handbook: Arizona, he has been a staff writer and editor for the Green Valley News in Southern Arizona's Santa Cruz Valley and Inside Tucson Business.
